Name: Talamein Species: Wolf Breed: Iberian Gender: Female Age: A couple years old, give or take a year or so. Pelt Color: Her coat is various shades of grey and black dapped together, her maw and chest washed with grey. Her lower half is also dusted with grey ash, occasionally salted upon her upper raven coat as well. Her coat was lush to the touch and eye, not silky soft, but enough for a comfortable pillow or blanket even. Eye Color: Her eyes are a piercing silver alexandrite. Personality: Tala is naturally a dominant female. She can be level headed at times but additionally just the opposite. Due to her past, she was quite a psychopath. Blood, cruelty, malice, velocity and all other things that had the sting of torture or death made her mouth water with eagerness, her blood race through her blue tinted veins at an immense rate, her bones and organs ache for desire. She lived and killed at high speeds yet with the swiftness of a clever fox. If she had been tracking the prey for sometime, she'd gladly take pleasure in taking just as long for the creatures death. Obviously a sadist, Tala really took no proper time to hide such attributes, nor did she care to. Although a huge part of her, Tala isn't always such a cold blooded killer. She believes in honor, and holds respect at its highest. Always protective of just about everything, but especially her loved ones, she'd charge into a fight with anything considerably larger, deadlier, faster, even more powerful than her without a hesitation of second thoughts. One of the most truly trustworthy and loyal friend, companion, leader, pack mate anyone could possibly have, the young fae could be considered 'one of a kind.' She prided just about everything on first impressions, but she wasn't one to judge until later in any relationship. Don't get the huntress wrong; she wasn't a stick in the mud, but she did have a sick sense of humor at times. None the less, she knew how to sugar coat it and serve certain words and statements upon a silver platter with a side of honey: she's certainly a skilled manipulator. History: As soon as Talamein was born, she had a choice: light or dark. Well, it wasn't really her choice, it was her parents'. Tala was born with another pup by the name of Shikatara, otherwise known as her sister. Both of their parents were captivated by the dark side, and thus pushed their pups towards the same fate. With parents constantly battling the pups amongst themselves or other various creatures, it was an amazment either of the two had managed to slip past scars or damaged bones. Both the pups had learned the dark side of life, and Tala gradually learned to embrace it, where as Shikatara had other plans.
Daring to defy both mother and father, the two scampered off into the night as quietly as they could, which was hard, considering the forest was disturbingly quiet on its own. Tara was at least a foot ahead- and gaining. In a paniced rush, Tala clamored and rolled through the dense underbrush as quickly as she could, while unfortunatly making quite a racket. Tara glanced back towards her eager sister, the noise of which being created sounding as if it could be heard a thousand miles away. Parting strong jaws, she was just about ready to yip to her sister, when a low growl reverberated about the area; their parents had awoken. "Tala, Tara! Get back here you little runts!" Halting within mid scramble, Tara fixed hustling, worried optics upon her sister. Hearing heavy pounds of paws against the terra below, Tala did her best to dash through the overhanging bushes, but to no avail, her father had caught sharp hold of her plume. With a yelp that was filled with both pain and horror, the brute tossed the young pup up and out from the bush, only to lower his cranium downwards to sniff out Tara. Tara held low, practically too petrified to move. Catching sight of the young pup, the male growled within the depths of his constricted throat as he dragged himself towards her, only to be caught short of his catch once a hawk thrashed through the undergrowth, ushered the pup towards the edge of it, then snatched the young fae by the scruff of her neck and wisked her off to the atmosphere above.
"Dammit!" With a brief puff of aggitation, he retraced his previous steps backwards until he was free from the scratchy bush. Wheeling about to punish Tala double time for their ignorant escape tactics, he was only greeted in return with a blank, pebble and short stick littered ground; Tala had run off while her father was reaching for her sister.
Like a bullet fired in slow motion, Tala ran as fast as her little legs could carry her. She knew if her father or mother were to catch up to her, she'd be a late night snack. She ran for what felt like hours, but in reality would of been only just a little over half, excluding small breaks she took to catch her breath. Muscles burning for oxygen and a heart that couldn't beat faster then a school girl who was about to make an approach to her crush, Tala finally collasped along side a slow flowing river.
The cool water brushed up and occasionally over the young pups paws, as if cleaning them of any unneeded residue the forest ground had abruptly buried itself between her toes. Tala eventually woke up, but was still a little woozy from her run. With vision a tad blurry, the pup slowly stumbled to a stand, only to be greeted with various creatures and illusions popping up in every which direction she turned. Hallucinations of all sorts were being born before her. Pivoting upon onyx washed paws, Tala once again ran off into the forest.
As time wore on, Tala grew and began to befriend the sometimes grotesque illusionary figures, at times even sitting to have a chat with them. As far as she was concerned, this was her family now. Feeling as if her sister had some how abandoned her, and really caring less about her parents, these things offered a net of safety and a homey atmosphere. "They" taught her how to hunt, kill, punish, torture, and disappear without a trace, thus partly making her what she was. Growing curious about the outside world, Tala began to travel closer and closer to the edge of the forest. They advised her otherwise, but she was stubborn. Semi reluctant, she gradually advanced into the outside world.
